Dr. Matthews states he had attended to the deceased from Jan?/June? 1916 and the last time he saw him alive was June 24, 1930. Registrar: C. A. Hart Additional Comments: This information was compiled from a copy of the actual death certificate which I have in my possession. NOTE: One correction was made by me. Where it asks the name of the deceased spouse, my grandfather, Elmer F. Baxter wrote his wife's name, L. T. Baxter. I have replaced this with Rebecca Elizabeth Hardin who was married to Sanford when he died. My grandfather, was an educated man, I have no idea why he put my grandmother's name as the spouse of his father. I am sure it was an unsettling time and an error occur here. The cause of death is unreadable. It looks like, opopbu?. It also states a contributory (Secondary factor) was Brights interstated. Sanford H. Baxter and Rebecca Elizabeth Hardin were my great-grandparents. Their son Elmer F. Baxter, who married Lillie Mae Tant, were my grandparents. They resided all their life in Paulding County, Georgia.
