Peach COUNTY GA Cemetery Good Will (African-American) File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by lavoris@bellsouth.net Gail Maiden http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/peach/cemeteries/good.txt GOOD WILL CEMETERY LOCATION: Hwy 49 – which changes into BlueBird Hwy. Turn onto Old Macon Road (a side street before you get to the entrance of the BlueBird Bus Company) The Cemetery is located directly behind the Blue Bird Bus Company. A rather large cemetery with approximate 800 visible graves/headstones. This is a very old cemetery. The entrance is marked by two sets of pillars. A Set of red brick pillars and a set of Stone White Pillars shaped like lighthouses. These white stone pillars are very very old. Probably as old as the Cemetery itself. After going through the cemetery on a brisk wall I didn't notice many names of families I was searching. But I recorded the surnames of families located in this cemetery. And all information of surnames of the families I was seeking. The oldest headstone that was ligible was 1904 (death year). I am sure the cemetery is much much older that 1904.
