The location of this cemetery was confirmed by Jerry A. Davis, Jr., of Kathleen, Georgia, whose Mother was a member of the church. Eudocia W. Moore, eldest child of William & C.E. Murray 1826-1900 (wife of Milton N. Thompson) Thompson, Milton N. 1822-1886 The present markers referred to where the land was deeded were placed in the cemetery by Jerry Thompson and myself with help from Davine Campbell. They were placed there several years ago. Dr. Edward W. Jones and his wife Lucinda Jones. He was a lay preacher at the church for a good many years; he had a medical practice in Ft.Valley and also a drug store there. As far as we could tell, the last burial was of Mary Moore in 1920. Nell Shelton, of Perry, and her family were the last to have a service at the cemetery a year or two ago. They had it at the Sally Anderson gravesite and they entered the cemetery from the Harper Rd. side. Her husband had cut some steps into the bank for ease of entry.
