Evelyn A. Singletary

Services for Evelyn Anderson Singletary, 93, of Pelham are at 11 a.m., 
Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home Chapel. The 
Rev. Kim Grueser will officiate and interment is in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. 
Active pallbearers are grandsons. Mrs. Singletary died Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 
her daughter's residence in Tallahassee, Florida. Mrs. Singletary was born 
November 19, 1910 in Peach County, Georgia.  She was a daughter of the late 
Harold and Aletha W. Anderson and was married to the late H.P. Singletary. Mrs. 
Singletary was a homemaker and enjoyed baking pound cakes. She was a member of 
the First Baptist Church of Pelham and a former member of the Pelham Civitan 
Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Dr. Harry 
Taylor of Tallahassee; four grandchildren, Debbie Cook and husband, Gary of 
Tallahassee, Lynn Thomas and husband, Danny of Tallahassee, Keith Taylor of St. 
Augustine, Fla. and Paul Taylor of Tallahassee; and five great-grandchildren, 
Amanda Thomas, Kyle Curry, Nicholas Cook, Dillon Cook and Tyler Thomas. 
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive 
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. -- Parker-Bramlett Funeral
