Rites Held. Mrs. Emma Head Smith...Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Head Smith of 
186 English Avenue,who died in a local hospital late Wednesday after an illness 
of 10 days, were held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 4:30 p.m. yesterday. 
Dr. J. E. Sammons and the Rev. J. C. Midyett officiated and burial was in the 
Smith cemetery in Peach county. Mrs. Smith was a native of Russell county, Ala. 
and had made her home in Macon for 17 years. She is survived by seven children.
