Pickens County

This indenture made and entered into this the seventeenth day of October in 
the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty two between Wm. H. 
Rea of the first part and Starling G. Rea my son and the children of Sanford 
V. Rea deceased son of the second part all of said county and state except 
some of the children of Sanford V. Rea. Witnesseth that the said Wm. H. Rea 
for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars and for the love and 
affection I have for the said S. G. Rea and the children of S. V. Rea deceased 
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given and conveyed and by the 
presents do give and convey unto the said S. G. Rea his heirs and assigns the 
south half of lot of land number one hundred and ninety two and the children 
of S. V. Rea the north half of said lot number one hundred and ninety two said 
lot lying and being in the fourth district and second section of said county 
of Pickens containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less
To have and to hold said tract or lot of land together with all and singular 
the rights member and appertaining unto the said parties of the second part 
their heirs and assigns except that I reserve for myself all the improvements 
and cleared land during my natural life and the said Wm. H. Rea for himself 
his heirs and assigns the said land hereby given and conveyed will warrant and 
forever defend
In testimony whereof the said Wm. H. Rea hath hereunto set his hand and 
affixed his seal the day and year above written
