This indenture made this twenty fourth day of September one thousand eight 
hundred and fifty between Alfred Roath of the county of Screven and state 
aforesaid of the one part and Wm. H. Rea of the county of Cherokee of the 
other part. Witnesseth that the said Alfred Roath for and in consideration of 
the sum of fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and 
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
granted bargained sold and conveyed and does by the presents grant bargain 
sell and convey unto the said William H. Rea his heirs and assigns all that 
tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the fourth district and 
second section of the county of Cherokee known and distinguished in the plan 
of said dist by the no 192 one hundred and ninety two
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Wm. H. 
Rea his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members 
and appertaining thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his heirs and 
their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said 
Alfred Roath for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said 
bargained premises unto the said Wm. H. Rea his heirs and assigns will warrant 
and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against 
the claim of all other persons whatever
In witness whereof the said Alfred Roath hath hereunto set his hand and seal 
the day and year above written
