Miss Maggie Day, aged 42, of Jasper, Ga., died early Sunday morning at a local sanitarium where she had been brought for treatment. The body was taken to the funeral parlors of A. O. and Roy Donehoo and early Monday morning will be carried to Jasper for funeral and interment. Miss Day was from one of the best known families in her part of the state. Her father, Judge William P. Day, of the city court of Jasper, is widely known in his section. Three brothers and two sisters survive Miss Day. One brother, Charles Day, is a resident of Atlanta. William Day and Craig Day, the other two brothers, live in Birmingham, the former being a prominent lawyer of that city, Mrs. W. A. Hambrick, of Ludville, Ga., and Mrs. W. J. Russell, of Athens, are the sisters surviving Miss Day.
