Claude F. Edge Dies At Home In Jasper.

Jasper, Ga., September 17-
Claude F. Edge, editor of the Pickens County Progress, died at his home here 
this morning at 6 o'clock following a long illness. Mr. Edge was 56 years of 
age.  He is survived by his wife, two sons, Claude F. Edge, Jr., and Robert 
Edge, Ellijay, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Owens, Ellijay, Ga., and three 
brothers, W. M. Edge, Palmetto; M. C. Edge, Jacksonville, and H. M. Edge, 
Washington, D. C.
Mr. Edge was a prominent county man and a member of the Royal Arcaneum.
The funeral will be held Monday at noon, interment being in the local cemetery.
