Mrs. W. H. Goss

Mrs. Nancy Jane Spence Goss, age 88 years, died Friday morning, October 11 
1963.  She had been in failing health for several years.  She was the widow of 
the late Rev. W. H. Goss.

Survivors include her sons, Mr. M.J. Goss, Sr. and Mr. S. E. Goss, Sr. and her 
daughter, Mrs. Jim Prather all of Jasper; 23 grandchildren; 60 great-
grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Philadelphia Baptist Church 
with Rev. Ben DuPree and Rev. Ed Frady officiating.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.  Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Additional Comments:
My husband, Terry Kieth Johnson, is a great-great-grandson of Nancy Jane 
Spence Goss.
