Jasper, Ga., February 9- Mrs. Ben Hill Simmons was buried here today in the family cemetery. Mrs. Simmons died at her home in Marianna, Fla., on February 7. She is survived by her husband, B. H. Simmons, three daughter, Mrs. Weldon Henley, Mrs. Wilmer Box and Miss Marguerite Simmons, all of Florida; her father, N. C. McClain, of this place, who is now very ill; one sister,Mrs. A. W. Davis, and three brothers, R. L. McClain, W. C. McClain, and Dr. M. C. McClain. Mrs. Simmons was born and reared in Jasper, and has many friends throughout north Georgia. The families of both Mr. and Mrs. Simmons have always been prominent in this section of the state, and the large attendance at the funeral service and the beautiful floral offerings attested to the popularity of this beloved woman. Dr. C. C. Jarrell, of Athens, conducted the funeral services.
