Death of Mrs. Stephen Tate.

Tate, Ga., June 10-
Mrs. Eliza D. Tate, wife of Colonel Stephen C. Tate of Tate, Pickens county, 
Ga.,died of consumption on Sunday, the 16th inst.  She had suffered much, but 
endured it patiently.  Mrs. Tate was a true Christian, and met death calmly.  
Her funeral was preached on Tuesday by Rev. M. S. Williams, of Woodstock, Ga., 
to one of the largest congregations ever assembled at a burial in Pickens 
county.
