Body Was Sent to Tate, Ga., and Interment Will Take Place in the Family Burial Ground. Mrs. Mary M. Tate died at 8:30 o'clock Friday morning at Elkin & Cooper's sanitarium after a protracted illness. Her body was sent to Pickens county yesterday and the funeral will occur today, the interment taking place in the family burying ground at Tate, Ga. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. F. L. Underwood, assisted by Rev. Loy Warrick. The deceased was the mother of Carter Tate, T. M. Tate, Mrs. Mattie Tate Cole, of Newnan; Mrs. Mamie Tate Holland, of Marietta, and Miss Stella Tate, of Pickens county. She was the widow of William Tate, who died about three years ago. Mrs. Tate was well known in Atlanta and had many friends throughout the state.
