This tombstone is marked by the DAR as someone 
recognized as fighting in the American Revolution and 
you can see their symbol. 
Tate, GA was named for the Tate family which established the marble works 
and built the marble school building located there.   I graduated from the 
solid white marble school building there in 1955.
