They doubtless wished the approving smiles of parents, but failing to obtain these or even their consent took matters into their own hands. So at the Depot in Jasper, last Sunday J. P. Wofford made them one, and the happy couple left for the romantic village of Ludville to enjoy their new life. Thus we see that "true love don't run smooth," still it runs and defies locks and bolts and daddy and mammy, as well.
