Services Held for Johnson Child
     John W. Johnson Jr., six-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. John W. Johnson, died
Sunday afternoon following a brief illness.
     Surviving, besides his parents, are three sisters, Misses Louise, Carolyn
and Gladys Johnson, all of Blackshear, and maternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs.
G.W.Fowler.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the Ben James Primitive
Baptist Church in Pierce County with the Rev. Algernine Boyett officiating. 
Interment was in the church cemetery.  Active pallbearers were W.D.Fowler,
H.D.Fowler, J.A.Fowler and E.G.Fowler.
     An honorary escort of his classmates and teachers from Hacklebarney School
attended the service.
