B.M.Peacock Passes Away in Baytown, Texas
     B.M.Peacock, 64, owner of a bicycle shop in Baytown, Texas and a native of
Pierce County, died Saturday in a Baytown hospital after suffering a heart
attack at his home.
     Mr. Peacock operated a shoe shop in Blackshear for a number of years, but
for more than 20 years had lived in Baytown, where he ran a combination shoe
shop and bicycle repair business.
     He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jewel Waters Peacock; four daughters,
Mrs. Donn Hess and Mrs. Lee Bishop of Baytown, Mrs. Lyman Walker of Blackshear,
and Mrs. J.K.Talbert of Fresno, CA; four sisters, Mrs. W.J.Mock, Mrs. J.P
Burgsteiner, and Mrs. Ira Youmans all of Blackshear, and Mrs. Agnes Walker of
Patterson; two brothers, J.R.Peacock and C.C.Peacock, both of Blackshear.
