Blackshear Times 11/03/1921
William Peacock

     Just before going to press the sad news of the death of Mr. Wm. Peacock,
who lived a few miles west of Blackshear reached us.  Death came to Mr. Peacock
Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock after an illness of several months.  The body was
interred at Ben James Cemetery this afternoon.  The deceased was one of the
oldest citizens of the county and is survived by a large family of children and
grand-children.  We join a host of sorowing friends in extending condolence to
the bereaved family.
