The native of Toombs County came to Pierce 55 years ago and was a prominent farmer and active member of Ben James Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mindy Viola Peacock Mock; four daughters, Mrs. Henry L. Moody, Pearson, Mrs. J.R. Thrift, Blackshear, Mrs. J.R. Davis, Wellborn, FL; three sons, W.Henry Mock and W.T. Mock, Blackshear, J.W. Mock, Waycross; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie McKinney, Dade City, FL, Mrs. Alber L. Henley, Safety Harbor, FL. Funeral services were to be conducted at 3 p.m. this afternoon at Ben James Church by Elder J.A. O'Neal and Elder Grayson. Burial will be in Ben James Cemetery.
