     BLACKSHEAR - Mrs. Erie P. Burgsteiner, 75, died yesterday in the nursing
home here.  A native of Pierce County, she was a member of the Pine Grove
Baptist Church.
     Survivors include her husband, J.P. Burgsteiner; a daughter, Mrs. Nela Mae
Harrison of Seaside, Ore.; a step-son, Alton Burgsteiner of Blackshear; three
sisters, Mrs. Mindy Mock, Mrs. Macie Youmans and Mrs. Agnes Walker, all of
Blackshear; a brother, Lumbie Peacock of Blackshear; and six grandchildren.
     Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist
Church.  Burial will be in Blackshear Cemetery.
     Pallbearers will be Johnny Burgsteiner, Donny Burgsteiner, C.C. Peacock,
Jr., P.D. Peacock, Jerry Walker and Omer Peacock.
     The body will lie in state at the Burgsteiner residence, Gordon St.,
Blackshear, untiul time for the service.
     Clough-Pearson Funeral Home of Blackshear is in charge.
