Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr.Peacock was born in Pierce County October 20, 1880. He was the son of the late William H.Peacock and Rachel James Peacock. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs.Lewis Dixon of Waycross and Mrs.Willis B.Wiggins, Route 2, Blackshear; three sons, O.J.Peacock of Alma, O.G.Peacock, Route 2, Blackshear, and J.L.Peacock of St.Marys, GA; one brother, C.C.Peacock, Route 1, Blackshear; four sisters, Mrs.J.P.Burgsteiner, Mrs.J.L.Youmans, and Mrs.W.J.Mock of Blackshear and Mrs.Agnes Walker of Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C.Peacock, J.P.Lee, H.F.Minchew, R.D.Ridley, Styles Allen, Reppard Carter, A.M.Vickers, E.W.Jordan Sr., R.D.Raulerson, Floyd Roberson, Everette Moore, Quincy Hutchinson, Mack Carter, & Jack Jordan. Active pallbearers will be Luther Peacock, Leroy Youmans, J.W.Mock, Emmitt Minchew, Bennie Carter & Howard Tuten.
