Mrs.Fowler was born near Trenton,FL. She moved to this section 30 years ago. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist church for 50 years. She resided at 1405 Knight Ave. (error - should be 725 Knight Ave.) Survivors include her husband, George H.Fowler, who has been an elder of the Primitive Baptist Church for over 50 years; three daughters, Mrs.D.E.Sikes, Folkston, Mrs.John Johnson and Mrs.Alton Howell, both of Blackshear; four sons, W.A.Fowler, Alma, H.D.Fowler, Blackshear, J.A.Fowler, Warner Robins, and E.G.Fowler, Waycross; three sisters, Mrs.Susie White, Sun City, FL, Mrs.M.E.Waters and Mrs.Gena Townsend, both of Tampa, FL; one brother, H.W.Simmons, Bell, FL; 29 grand-children and 26 great grand-children and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the Ben James Church in Pierce County. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
