I was interested in this cemetery because of the Allen name.. I researched this old family site and found a mention of the name Shown above as the Burial of Major Bob Allen Weaver. Pike County Georgia The cemetery was named after him.. I have added some notes about this cemetery. This cemetery is located on the corner of Williamson / Zebulon Road and Dickinson Road about two and fifty yards down Dickinson Road on the right side, you cannot miss it. Robert Allen Born April 30, 1792 Died Nov.30, 1876 Transcribed on the marker. One of Pike County first settlers in 1822 lived here 54 years on the land he drew. Priscilla Allen Wife of Rob Allen Died August 1881 John C. Allen Born July 2, 1836 Died March 2, 1870 Son of Robert and Priscilla Allen Mother Collie E. Dickinson Born October 17, 1862 Died May 9, 1889 Father C. A. Dickinson Born April 12, 1844 Died December 26, 1916 Notes The two Dickinson burials are buried about forty feet apart on opposite ends of the cemetery. There seems to no burials in between.
