Pike County Georgia. The community of Jolly is nearby. The church and cemetery are located about 100 yards south of the intersection There today August 6th 2004 are the remains of an old wooden church the roof has collapsed the windows are broken and it needs to be torn down. The county map shows this as Hale Church however from Bill Russell August 24, 2004 "The info I have is that the church is named Smiths Chapel. It is an African American church.
