Turner 1870 Georgia Pike County This indenture made and entered into this the twenty eighth day of December in the year of our lord one Thousand eight hundred and seventy between Catharine Dunn of the one part and John N. Turner of the same place of the other part . Witnesseth that the said Catharine Dunn for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars to her in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto the said John N. Turner his heirs and assigns all that part of lot of land number eighty three in the ninth District of originally Monroe now Pike County known as Twenty acres lying west and South of the ten acres sold to said Turner of Lot No. eighty three to have and to hold the said Twenty acres of land unto him the said John N. Turner his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances whereof to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Catharine Dunn for herself her heirs and assigns the said bargained premises unto the said John N. Turner his heirs executors and administrators and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Catharine Dunn has hereunto set her hand and seal the day and year above written signed sealed and delivered this the day and year above written in presents of James P. Cox J.R. Montgomery Catharine Dunn State of Georgia Pike County Personally came before me one of the justices of the peace in and for said county Jas. R. Montgomery who being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he saw Catharine Dunn seal and deliver the within deed for the purpose therein mentioned . That deponent subscribed the same as a witness in the presence of said Catharine Dunn and that he saw James P. Cox do so likewise Sworn to before & subscribed This Jany 7th 1872 J.R. Montogemery J.B.
