Ellis to William Ellis Deed Georgia Henry County This Indenture made and entered into the sixteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two between William J. Ellis of the State aforesaid of the County of Pike of the one part and Wm. Ellis of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William J. Ellis for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Wm. Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Pike, containing three hundred and fifty acres more or less, fifty acres of which is the East end of Lot Number one hundred and seventy, the other one hundred and fifty acres and a half more or less, the west end of Lot Number ninety the road from Zebulon to McDonough is the line all the land in west of said road on said lot. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Wm. Ellis his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the same or in any manner thereunto belonging to his and their proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Wm. J. Ellis for himself his heirs executors and administrators and assigns to warrant and forever defend the rights and title of the described premises free from the claim or claims of all and every other person or persons whatsoever in fee simple.
