This indenture made this fourth day of February in the Year of our Lord one
thousand eight-hundred and Twenty Three and in the forty seventh year of the
Independence of the United States of America between Asa Holt of the County of
Jefferson and State aforesaid of the one part and John Byram of the County of
Jasper and State aforesaid of the other.

Witnesseth That the Said Asa Holt for and in consideration of the Sum of One
hundred and twenty five Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged hath
Granted bargained sold alined(?) conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do
Grant bargain Sell alien(?) convey and confirm unto the Said John Byram his
heirs and assigns all that tract or Lot of Land containing two hundred two and a
half acres being Lot No. 181 One hundred and eighty one in the first district of
Monroe County when Drawn now Pike County adjoining Lots No one hundred and
seventy two (172), No one hundred and eighty two (182) No two hundred and four
(204) and No One hundred and eighty (180) and drawn by Michael Durouzeaux Of
Halls District Jefferson County.

To have and to hold the said tract or Lot of Land with all and singular the
rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the Said Tract or Lot of
Land being belonging or in anywise appertaining with the remainders? and ---?---
---?---  and ---?--- rents issues and profits thereof to the only proper use
benefit and behoof of the Said John Byram in fee simple his heirs executors
administrators against the said Asa Holt his heirs executors administrators and
assigns the Said bargained tract or parcel or Lot of Land unto the said John
Byram his heirs executors administrators and assigns against him the said Asa
Holt and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presence.

In Witness Whereof the Said Asa Holt hath hereunto Set his hand and affixed his
Seal the day and Year the first above written.

Additional Comments:
Recording date not noted on deed. This land today is just inside the Hollonville
(unincorporated) city limits and is bordered by Ga. Hwy. 362, Concord Road,
Irish Hill Road, and extends westward several hundred yards past Gregg Road.
