G, 27th Ga. Regt. This company had its annual reunion at Concord July 23rd 1890. The meeting was opened by reading 167th Psalm and with prayer by the chaplain J.D. Cariker [sp]. The address of welcome was delivered by Hon. J.F. Madden on behalf of the good people of Concord, and the response from the company was by Hon. T.J. Barrett. Rev. W.A. Brooks was called on and responded with a nice speech. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted, after which the muster roll was called. The following officer were elected for the ensuing year: T.Z. Jones, president, B.H. Lifsey, vice president, Theo Williams, Secretary, and J.D. Carriker, chaplain. Committee of arrangements, J.D. Carriker, Theo Williams and B.H. Lifsey. Theo Williams, T.Z. Jones and B.F. Lifsey were appointed to draft resolution of thanks to the good people of Concord for their favors to us, and the following resolutions were offered and adopted: Resolved That we, surviving members of Co. G., 27th Ga. Regiment tender to the citizens of Concord and community our heartfelt thanks for their hospitality toward us during our stay with them and to Mr. J.J. Lee for the use of his hall.
