Zebulon, Pike Co., Ga., Friday, May 18, 1894

"Uncle" Jimmy Harper celebrated his 90th birthday at his home near
Weaver on the 8th inst. Quite a number of relatives and friends were
present and the day was pleasantly spent. The old gentleman is a member
of the Methodist church and is regarded as a pure Christian gentleman.
We hope he may live many years yet, a benediction to the community in
which he lives.
