The Pike County Journal April 1, 1927

A very enjoyable occasion in Zebulon Sunday was the family reunion held at the 
home of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Slade, in honor of the former’s mother, Mrs. M.A. 
Lifsey. 

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Lifsey of New York City; Mr. Roy A. 
Lifsey of Montgomery Alabama; Mr. Joe Lifsey and daughter Helen, Mr. Ed Slade, 
Mr. and Mrs Hamilton McKenzie, Mr. and Mrs. Zeal Slade of Marshallville, Mr. 
C.W. Hill and Charner, Jr. of Forsyth and Miss Cora Anderson of Atlanta.
