The Barnesville News-Gazette Barnesville, Ga., Thursday, August 4, 1904
The Lifsey annual family reunion was held here last Saturday. It was a 
pleasant, happy occasion. There were 96 of the relatives present and about 25 
visiting friends. Among those that live some distance were, Mr. And Mrs. C.L. 
Lifsey, Mr. J.A. Lifsey and daughter Miss Carrie Lee of Conyers, Mr. J.H. 
Lifsey and two daughters Misses Ruth and Lucille of Stone Mountain, Mr. And 
Mrs. B.A. Lifsey and Mr. Lonnie Lifsey, of Barnesville, Mr. Melvin Lifsey of 
Birdie.

We have a picnic here every now and then. A party from The Rock and a party 
from Thomaston spent last week at the Springs here.

Rev. Mr. Ware is carrying on a series of meetings at Fincher’s church this week.
