Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia Aaron Stewart, an old soldier of near Hollonville came to Zebulon Monday to be examined by Drs. Beckham and Owen for the purpose of applying for a pension. Mr. Stewart was wounded in the Battle of Fisher’s Hill Sept. 22, 1864. He was shot by a sharpshooter. The ball entered near the left ear and lodged in the right jaw bone. Only a small piece of the ball showed and Mr. Stewart has always been of the opinion that it was a small piece of decayed tooth until Monday when Dr. Owen run his forceps into his mouth and pulled out the ball.
