The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia

F.H. Conley and wife returned to their home at Reynolds, Ga., Sunday. They were 
summoned here two months ago to the bedside of Mrs. Conley’s brother. 
Afterwards her mother, Mrs. Ballard, was taken sick and died; then Mrs. Conley 
was sick with fever, and is just now able to go home. We are glad to know 
that “Rip,” as we call him, is doing well in the mercantile business at 
Reynolds.
