Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia Shot By His Brother Cleveland Pitts Badly Wounded by a Pistol in the Hands of Fred Pitts Williamson, Jan. 1 - Yesterday afternoon at 6 o’clock, young Fred Pitts accidentally shot his brother Cleveland. They were standing together while Fred was loading a pistol and it went off, the bullet entering the body on the left side just below the heart. It is a very dangerous wound and may prove fatal. Dr. Beauchamp was hastily summoned and is using all the skill and attention that medical attention can afford. The boys are the sons of J.A. Pitts, of this place. Fred is about 17 years old and Cleveland is about 15 years of age. The bullet was taken out last night and the wound dressed. The boy, though in much pain, is resting well at this time.
