The Pike County Journal February 25, 1927

News was received at The Pike County Journal office Wednesday morning that two 
Pike County boys, John M. Henderson of Concord, and Chas. F. Weaver of near 
Zebulon were among those of the U.S. Navy sailing on the Navy transport 
Henderson from Philadelphia Navy Yard Monday, February 21st, on a secret trip 
to the war zone of Nicaragua.


Additional Comments:

Son of John Thomas and Annie Butler Weaver, Charlie Franklin Weaver was born 
23 June 1900 in Pike County, Georgia.
