Pike County Times-Journal, Zebulon, Ga. June 21, 1907

The forty-second Georgia regiment, U.C.V., will hold its annual reunion in 
Logansville, Gwinnett county, on July 20. The regiment has generally held its 
reunions on July 22, so as to commemorate the date of the battle of Atlanta, 
but the 22d this year falls on Monday, and it was decided to hold it the 
latter part of the preceding week so as to allow more time for preparations.

The thirty-fifth regiment has also been invited to take part in the reunion, 
it having fought in many battles around Atlanta.
