The Pike County Journal May 23, 1924

Sheriff Marsh prevented a jail delivery Thursday morning. He had suspicioned 
that saws had been smuggled into the jail and had for some time been on watch, 
so Thursday he found seventeen hack saws in the jail. He thinks he knows the 
parties who put them in the hands of the prisoners and expects to have them 
behind bars within a few hours.
