Wright, J.B. Bevil, B.S. Aiken and other spent several days at Yatesville recently attending the General meeting Towaliga Baptist Association. They report crops around Yatesville badly scorched and dry, but there was an abundance of everything good to eat, and the people there were as hospitable as could be. All the churches reported in good condition. Elder W.J. Oxford, Moderator. (Transcribed 10/1/02 Lynn Cunningham)
