Barnesville, Georgia, Thursday, April 3d, 1890 Col. A.B. Mallary [sp] died at his home near here on Saturday last and was buried at Fellowship Church on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was 82 years of age, had lived long in this county, and was most highly honored and respected for his many estimable traits of character. For many years he was totally blind, but was cheerful and resigned to his affliction. He left a wife and daughter.
