The Pike County Journal
Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia: May 27, 1892

The death of Mrs. Ella Smith which occurred at the home of her father, B.H. Lifsey, in this place on 
last Tuesday will be mourned by many relatives and friends throughout the county. She died of 
consumption after a lingering illness, and her remains were laid to rest in Fincher’s church 
cemetery Wednesday, Rev S.R. England conducting the funeral services.
