Hamil, an old and respected citizen of this county died last week of dysentery. He was a member of the Baptist church at Mt. Olive and was a high-toned Christian gentleman. His body was buried at the Billingsley family graveyard near the house of Austin Davis. Mr. Hamil was a useful man in his community and his death is sincerely mourned by many.
