Chapman who lives near Lifsey's store, this county. Mrs. Chapman had been married but a short while. She was a Christian lady and well thought of by all who knew her. Her remains were enterred [sp] at the family graveyard near here last Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. She had a host of friends who sympathize with the bereaved husband and relatives in this their hour of bereavement. (Transcribed 10/21/02 Lynn Cunningham)
