Ford, of whose serious illness we made mention last week, is dead. She died at 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon and was buried at the Methodist church cemetery Friday, her 86th birthday. Mrs Blount had been in feeble health for some time past, and had come to Zebulon where her wants might be ministered to by loving hands. We learn from the funeral services so impressively conducted by Rev. S.R. England at the M.E. church, that the deceased joined that branch of the Christian church at the age of fifteen years and for 71 years lived up to its teachings and requirements.
