Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia: September 1, 1893 Mrs. McLeroy Dead Mrs. Caroline McLeroy died at her home this county Friday afternoon. The deceased was 80 years of age, and for more than half a century had been an active member of the Baptist church. She was the mother of Esquire R.R. McLeroy, so well and favorably known in Middle Georgia. A large circle of friends and relatives including several children will mourn the death of this Christian mother and friend. The remains were buried Saturday morning at the family burying ground at 10 o'clock. (Transcribed 10/27/02 Lynn Cunningham) Note: This is Caroline M.
