Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia: January 6, 1893 We regret very much to chronicle the death of Mrs. H.C. Allen, nee Georgia Parker, which occurred at her home at Orchard Hill last week. Her clothing caught on fire in the stove room and she was horribly burned before assistance reached her. Death relieved her suffering in about two days. A mother's accident was precipitated by the burning which added additional agony. The broken hearted husband, who is a son of R.H. Allen of this county, has our sincere sympathy. (Transcribed 10/27/02 Lynn Cunningham) Note: Henry [Hinney] C. Allen was a son of Robert H. Allen and Sarah Sentell
