Zebulon, Pike Co., Ga., Friday May 17, 1895 W.C. Whaley Dead Mr. W.C. Whaley of Molena died of consumption last Thursday. His remains were interred at Mt. Olive on Saturday, the funeral being preached by Rev. J.W. Beck. Mr. Whaley was a member of the firm of Carriker and Whaley, merchants, and was both prudent and progressive in his business methods. He leaves a wife and one child and many friends who deplore his death. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church and died strong in the Christian faith.
