Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, Mar. 6, 1896 The Journal is sorry to note the death of Mr. John Means, which occurred at his home near Meansville last Friday morning. He was 84 years of age and general prostration was the cause of his death. Mr. Means was a man who was respected and esteemed wherever he was known. He was honest and honorable in all transactions with his fellow man, and in his death the county has lost one of its best and purest man.
