McCulloch, died at her home in the Second District of Pike county Wednesday night at 8:45 o'clock following a long illness. She was 83 years of age. She was the daughter of the late James M. Shockley and Winifred Rebecca Collier Shockley and was a granddaughter of Michael Shockley, who was a captain in the War of 1812. She was a great-granddaughter of Jonathan M Shockley, who fought in the Revolutionary War. She was born and reared in Pike county and had spent virtually all of her life there. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist church. Funeral services will be conducted from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Howard will officiate. Interment will be in the Shockley Family cemetery with Haisten Brothers, funeral directors in charge. Pallbearers will be Hilton Hawkins, James McCulloch, Alton Hopkins, Francis Langley, R. M. Lovelace and J.S. Lovelace. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. H.G. Metcalfe, of Gainesville, Ga., Mrs. J.S. Lovelace, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. H.G. Rozero, Mandarin, Fla.; one son, J.R.
