Funeral and burial was at the Methodist church Saturday, being conducted by Rev. R. W. Rogers, assisted by Rev. C. W. Milford. Haisten Bros., of Griffin were in charge as funeral directors. Miss Ballard was born in Zebulon and spent her whole life here. She had for years assisted her sister, Miss Eva Ballrad (Ballard), in conducting the Ballard House. She joined the Zebulon Methodist church at the age of 15 and lived a true Christian life daily. She loved her church and was ever faithful to it and her Master. She was greatly beloved by all who knew her. She is survived by two sisters.
