Mr. Green was a native of Zebulon and spent his boyhood days here, but had made his residence in Atlanta for over twenty years. He was the youngest son of the late Dr. L. J. and Mrs. Mattie Reeves Green, also a brother of the late Hartford L. Green. He was 55 years old. Surviving are two brothers, Sidney and Luther Green of Atlanta; two nieces, Mrs. Jerry Hunter, of Atlanta, and Miss Henrietta Green, of Zebulon; three nephews, James Green, of Atlanta; and Hartford and Rufus Green, of Zebulon.
